Advertising

Commercial support must be labeled clearly.

BBSC Publications may publish sponsored, partner-supported, promotional, affiliate-style, or commercially connected material only when the relationship is clear to readers.

Required Labels

  • Sponsored Content: paid or materially supported by an outside business, organization, partner, or sponsor.
  • Partner Content: created with a BBSC partner or connected to a formal collaboration.
  • Advertisement: promotional placement controlled by an advertiser or sponsor.
  • Affiliate / Commission Disclosure: used if BBSC can earn money from a link or referral.

Editorial Independence

Advertisers, sponsors, partners, merchandise campaigns, and membership activity do not receive approval rights over independent reporting, investigations, commentary, corrections, or editorial conclusions.

Partner Review

Partners may review jointly produced promotional material for factual and brand accuracy before publication. That review does not apply to independent reporting.
