BBSC Patch Legends
You can join BBSC. You cannot buy the Patch.
Patch Legends are selected by Big Bud Smoker's Club to recognize culture builders, advocates, educators, organizers, creators, patient voices, legacy figures, and community leaders whose work has earned visible respect.
Earned, Never Bought
The card and certificate are recognition artifacts issued after acceptance and BBSC approval.
Patch Legend status is not for sale. It cannot be purchased, requested, applied for, sponsored, or traded for promotion.
The Standard
Recognition With A Hard Line
Patch Legends is a BBSC honor tier for people whose work has helped shape cannabis culture, community, advocacy, education, media, patient access, or legacy preservation. It carries the benefits of the other BBSC tiers, but the status itself is earned through nomination, review, invitation, acceptance, and BBSC approval.
Invited
Publicly visible only when BBSC chooses to show the invitation. This is recognition in progress, not confirmed status.
Accepted
Accepted honorees receive an official profile, serial, card, certificate, and public Patch Legend listing.
Declined
Declines are never displayed publicly. A future reconsideration must come from the person and be approved by BBSC.

What Patch Legends Receive
A Patch Legend gets the BBSC member foundation plus honor-specific recognition, artifacts, merch access, and savings. Future physical induction gifts can be added when BBSC is ready to fulfill them consistently.

Legend Discount
Patch Legends receive a 10% BBSC discount tied to their approved member account.
Card + COAM
Official Artifacts
Accepted honorees receive the Patch Legend card and Certificate of Authentic Membership.
Future
Induction Gift Plan
BBSC may add physical induction gifts later after product, sizing, fulfillment, and cost controls are ready.
Exclusive
Legend Merch Line
Patch Legends get access to an exclusive merch line. BBSC does not use an honoree's name, image, or likeness on merch without permission.
Selection Process
Nominations Are Signals. BBSC Makes The Call.
BBSC can consider a name because the community nominated them, because trusted members surfaced them, or because BBSC itself identifies their work as worthy of review. A nomination count can help show momentum, but it does not automatically create Patch Legend status.
Community Nominations
Nomination tips are intended for BBSC Roots members. Multiple tips can strengthen a case when they include specific work, evidence, and cultural impact.
BBSC-Chosen Review
BBSC reserves the right to put a name forward directly when the contribution is clear or strategically important.
Final Approval
No count, post, purchase, status, or outside pressure replaces BBSC review, acceptance, consent, and approval.
Support Without Selling Status
General Patch Legends Merch Can Support The Honor
BBSC can sell general Patch Legends supporter merch without implying the buyer becomes a Legend. Honoree-specific merch, names, photos, quotes, signatures, or likenesses require permission first.
Earned In The Culture
Supporter language should celebrate the program and the culture, not promise status.
Respect The Roots
General merch can drive attention, Roots signups, and program support while keeping the honor clean.
Give Them Flowers
Spotlights, interviews, and approved profiles should make the recognition feel human, specific, and earned.

Invited And Accepted Patch Legends
The box on the left shows people BBSC has invited to become Patch Legends. The box on the right shows people who have accepted, received approval, and can have a public profile. Declined, deferred, removed, or do-not-reinvite records stay in BBSC's private tracker.

No public Patch Legend invitations are posted yet.
Accepted
Accepted Patch Legends will appear here after consent and profile approval.
Public removal does not erase BBSC's private record. It only means the person is no longer shown as an active public invite.
Launch Readiness
What BBSC Should Have Ready Before A Full Public Push
The structure can exist now, but BBSC should treat the full public push as ready only when the first invite wave and operating pieces are prepared.
First Invite Wave
Pick the first 3-5 people BBSC wants to invite and prepare the private/public invite language.
Templates
Create the invitation graphic, accepted/inducted announcement template, and profile-page template.
Review System
Keep the nomination tracker current so declined, deferred, accepted, and do-not-reinvite records are handled privately.
Recognition Artifacts
Card And COAM System
Accepted honorees may receive a Patch Legend card and Certificate of Authentic Membership. These are ceremonial BBSC recognition pieces, not legal credentials, employment badges, cannabis licenses, or purchasable membership products.
Patch Legend Card
Issued after acceptance with honoree name, serial, chapter, and recognition details.
Official COAM
A certificate artifact that documents the honor and reinforces the earned recognition standard.

This is a nomination tip for BBSC Roots members, not an application. Submitting a name does not create status, guarantee review, or notify the person. BBSC reviews tips privately and decides whether to invite someone.
